j eyekey has spent many years in the real world. There, he’s done some pretty exciting stuff like work in sports and substitute teach. He’s also done lots of boring grown-up stuff. j eyekey holds fancy learning degrees like Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication and Master of Education in Educational Leadership & Social Justice from highly regarded universities. Kinda cool. But not as cool as reading, writing, imagining and dreaming. His published children’s poetry and picture books offer a blend of sweet & silly stories for *all* lil’ (& big) kids to enjoy--together.

When not reading and writing, j eyekey enjoys hiking in the woods with his family, learning a new song on guitar, watching a soccer match or basketball game... even better playing one! He’s most thankful for his family--mystic Molly and the 3 L’s. Also, he’s most thankful for his elementary school librarian. Misses E. She was the first person to share the majesty and wonder of books. Without her, j eyekey’s poems and stories would not be possible. Thanks Misses E for reading to me. You were a wonderful Librarian. Oh, and a pretty terrific mom too... I hope I’m just like you when I grow up!
